Awesome movie, no doubt. The soundtrack really adds a lot, and integrates with the overall narrative in some clever ways.
For anyone blown away by the movie, I'd recommend stuff from author Haruki Murakami.

Urs, congrats! I think there is not much else to achieve as a VST developer if someone like HZ is inspired and uses Zebra ... except to continue on Zebra 3 development maybe

Yes, definitely, a BIIIIIIIG "Congratulations!" is due. I've been an off-again/on-again fan of Zimmer's since "Black Rain." He's always at least "good" (sometimes too easily, meaning "pleasant wallpaper-music"), but when he's inspired, he's absolutely "on fire." (E.g., "Pirates Of The Caribbean 2+3," "Batman Begins," "The Dark Knight, "Pear Harbor," "Black Hawk Down," etc....) So for someone of his caliber to be using your software -- that's just awesome.

It's a Christopher Nolan film -- I regard him as one of the guys they'll be talking about as an "all-time great director" 50+ years from now -- even if movies, as we see/experience them, have changed greatly by then. (The same will surely be true for Leo as well, as an actor -- I never figured that he would rise so far and beyond "Jack." That sort of role tends to destroy careers, but he's acted his way well above it. Funny that these two should intersect on this project...nebulae wrote:elxicano, dude, you're gonna love it!

I just saw it at a 'regular' theatre, but it's a really cool art deco (really, Laurel & Hardy were at the opening) 1,000 seat theatre with a HUGE screen.

I saw Inception Sunday and was amazed! Sound track with Johnny Marr was great indeed. This movie it still stuck in my head.
The unknown capacity of the human mind, the some time other worldly(yes, I know what cliches these are but...) spiritual nature of sound and the longing of some people to know what we humans are capable of.
Also, the use of Zebra is a testament to the quality and stability of the software synth and PC/Macs for making 100% pro music, with such tools any one with the mind and creativity to do such music should!
I'm even more inspired to become a sound designer.
Many thank to the brilliance of both Hanz Zimmer and Urs Heckman (and of course Johnny Marr) for there contributions and hard work. Oh yeah! The Orchestra rocked as well

I saw the movie yesterday and: Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my! Oh my god!!!! ... that's pretty all about qualitty of the movie.
Now the soundtrack: Hans still rulezz. No doubt. Music in the end just blows you away.
I think Urs must be proud that he contributed by his masterpiece VSTi to that.

Just saw the movie yesterday. Way too long for my knees, but it was good. The music is also powerful, there are segments where it gives me that 28days later feeling
