I still need 3-4 hours to come up with something, it's 22:00 PM right now.

EDIT: I've got some issues remaining with the dropdown controls (VSTGUI 3.6 changes). Until I sort them out, I cant release anything :(

Just testing the latest changes on OSX right now.

Apparently changing the current skin is a bit problematic (i.e. causes crash)
As a workaround, we might ask the user to close and reopen the plugin window when they change the current skin.

Would that be a bummer for anyone?

Well, considering that for skinning in most plugins you have to do it manually... nah, don't think it'll be an issue. Just my 2c.

Great then! Will just show a messagebox and ask the user to close/reopen the window.

That doesn't bother me actually, but I almost always keep the default skin.

I mean if it's a one-time close and re-open there's nothing wrong with it imho.

This is a standard procedure for many software that uses skins, so, I don't think this would be considered a bummer.

not me, I'd would not do white like that, not my type of thing.

I do have this that I have been playing with this one since the first few 2D flat gui I installed didn't make it. Basically it the second gui with no decorations and all colors removed.

Here's how the second gui is looking installed...

I took the Logic pro request and made an alternate to the 2nd gui I'm doing, something with sort of that look (well not really but sort of...I tried but that styles is not really my thing). Color and various things would still need to be worked out, I realize it looks a little funky right now, its a mock up. Its certainly a stripped down version.

If there's any interest I could do this one as well, could have it done by the end of week, if not I'll be happy to leave it out. thumbs up or thumbs down?
