This is the 2nd set of disc with the same exact problem. We have done the direct install method and on the last disc #5 it stops on electric 03 and will not proceed any further. It will not even let us skip that section-it freezes.

mbscpo,
Any chance you can provide a little bit more info? What do you mean when you say 'We have done the direct install method'? Trillian is not installed using direct install. proper method would be to use the download at www.plugorama.com in drop installers here, and then copy the sample files from your discs over to to the appropriate directory in Receptor (C/Users/All Users/Application Data/Steam/Trillian/Soundsources). Are you getting stuck when you try to copy those files over? Also, it'd be helpful to know the computer system you are using.

That's what I meant-drop installer method. I'm running the creation station PC (souped up by the factory) which has vista. I have a receptor 2 pro max-1tb. When we get to the very last disc, about half-way thru, it stops and states that it cannot install electric 03. It then gives the options to: retry, skip, cancel. It really doesn't matter which option is chosen, it just sits there frozen. Sweetwater has sent me a 2nd set of disc thinking the first maybe had a bad disc. The odds are low now that the 2nd set is doing the exact same thing. Spectrasonics doesn't know what to make of it either. I have Omnisphere already loaded and have done the patches available.

hmmm...
And what if you try copying that directly to the creation station, like to the desktop (instead of copying to Receptor's drive?) will it copy over then? Did you already install Trillian on your creation station?

It wouldn't load the 1st time onto the creation station. Then once I shut down the receptor, it would load the entire set of discs onto the creation station. It said "data error: duplication ????" I can't exactly remember all of the terms. Now the question is how do I get it off the creation station and onto the receptor without too much trouble??Kevin@MuseResearch wrote:hmmm...

Well,
The first thing to try is just starting up the Receptor again, then go ahead and try just dragging the sounds across from your Windows system to the Receptor drive. I'd try copying to the trillian directory first, but if that doesn't work go ahead and try to see if it'll copy somewhere like 'samples' on the Receptor Drive. On a side note, can you let me know what the ip address is for your Receptor? Could be a networking issue.

I turned on the receptor and it wants me to register the software with spectrasonics. I just hope that once this occurs, I can update my files so they are usable.Kevin@MuseResearch wrote:Well,

I really don't feel comfortable placing my IP address on the WWW. If you will send me your email link I'll gladly share it with you.
Thanks

mbscpo,
I would recommend moving all the sample libraries over to receptor, then registering the software. Concerning IP, you just want to check if the address that Receptor gets starts with 169. If it does that could indicate a problem with the way your Receptor is connected. If the address is 192.168.254.253, then you'll want to make sure your receptor is connected directly to your computer with just one ethernet cable, and not connected directly to a router. If you want you can open a support ticket at www.plugorama.com/hd.php to contact me directly.

I cannot even register the product as the buttons on the authorization page do not work. This page never worked for Omnisphere either. I contacted Spectrasonics and they told me that it was a Muse issue and Muse needs to take care of this problem.Kevin@MuseResearch wrote:mbscpo,

Kevin I did manually write the numbers into the slots yet it still doesn't register the product.Kevin@MuseResearch wrote:mbscpo,
