Unique is really unique, I can't think of a synth that is somewhat similar to it. It's not an all-purpose synth, but what it does it does pretty well
I'm really interested in how you will develop it in the feature.
It probably could use some more waveforms and better sequencer/arp
Any new features, fixes or fine-tunings besides a stand-alone version?

How come you ignore simple questions on this forum, for months, and then pop in to promote your new products...Sugar Bytes wrote:In preparation of our next great release, we would like to know:

I started a thread asking about the presets being missing, it went unanswered for months, but I ended up buying your product anyway...
Now the thread is gone, so I guess some housecleaning has been done...
If you want a forum at KVR, at least monitor, and be part of it.

The standalone opens and then crashes when you try to open the audio settings.
I'm on Windows XP (32 bit) SP3. Athlon X2 processor.

I miss MindPrint. My TRIO needs a big brother.

I gave an example, and in my case, I purchased your product, and answered my own question.Sugar Bytes wrote:Hi John, have the presets been there then? Usually we dont delete any posts...
I just think that if you want your own forum, you should at least reply to people who post questions... and reply within a few days, at least.
Of course, you do that already...

More waveforms, more filters and variations of the filters (like the fabfilter stuff i.e. Raw, Hollow, Smooth, etc....) and as already mentioned better and more versatile Arp/Seq with MIDI out. An efx version or the ability to pass audio through the filters would be great as well. RESYNTHESIS would be great too.Sugar Bytes wrote:Any feature requests?
I feel all these thing would make it MORE versatile. Unique is kind of a "one trick pony", but in Uniques' case that's not a bad thing because it's a mighty fine trick...

V1.1.0: One of things that bothers me is the flickering in the drop down preset menu. I think it was worse on my XP Laptop but it's still a 'problem' on my Windows 7 Laptop too. I've just noticed the same flickering when I click on the big UNIQUE text (top right). The green 'autopan' and 'rate' knobs, flash through the UNIQUE menu page from time to time.
Windows 7 64 bit. Using 32 bit version in Ableton 8.1.4. Don't know off hand what my Graphics Card is. Sony VAIO.
EDIT: I should test the new BETA but thought I'd mention this anyway.

The visual glitching seems to be repaired now in this new version. No problems in stand alone or vsti in Ableton.
Still quite a low-fi sounding instrument.

More waveforms, better sequencer/arp and an all around smoother sound would be nice. Maybe through different wave shapes and more filtering options. I mean it tends to be focused a little too much on the "raw and edgy" type of sounds. These can be nice, but to be able to add some more "smoothness" would make it far more interestingVSTJuNkiE wrote:BUMP
