Accelerator Patches for ACE Rock!

I'm only using MW and PB for now, but this collection is really, really good, and the patches really come alive with real-time modulation. I love these especially:
Owl Song, Equus, Lantern (makes me think of an MS-20), Tingle, Mnemonic, Soldier, and others.
Here's a short piece I did for fun yesterday, featuring 10 of the Accelerator patches. With some reverb added (Altiverb), delay on 2 tracks, compression and limiting on the master:

Wow
Is the "lantern" patch in that demo of yours? If so, which one is it?

Hey Ned, wanted to reply in the V.I. control forum but it looks like I'm not allowed to post any replies there.Ned Bouhalassa wrote:Ace Breakup Theme

you can hear the "lantern" sound in the official soundset demos, it's the fourth sound in the accelerator play single sound demo:
Accelerator Play
And it's also one of the sounds in this multi-demo:
Mindwalker

I've actually been listening to your audio demos for the past 15 minutes, deciding whether or not to buy the sets... I don't normally purchase patch sets (mostly out of arrogance and purist tendancies... the whole "pshaw, it's not like its sample sets, I can make patches myself" attitude) but I think I'll be making an exception for this one (and maybe the other one too, undecided on the bundle deal)tasmaniandevil wrote:Hey MitchK,MitchK1989 wrote:Is the "lantern" patch in that demo of yours? I'm right now trying to get a few more audio-demos done combining the sounds from the two sets to show how they play together, should be done in one or two days hopefully. Could maybe be helpful for your decision whether you need one or both of them.MitchK1989 wrote:... but I think I'll be making an exception for this one (and maybe the other one too, undecided on the bundle deal)

Just also had to add a Thanx for the free sounds within Acetone !
Though you call them "simple" they're great !
Some weird ones included...
"Mental Breakdown" is so sick, it made me laugh (well, if this patch decides to play at all... lol ).
And though I'm flooded with all kind of presets/sounds I might end up getting me the "Accelerator" soundset...
Thanks and Cheers

Cool that you like them, they are certainly not as good as the commercial sounds but I thought they would still be good enough to be useful for some.losan wrote:Just also had to add a Thanx for the free sounds within Acetone !

And as promised I just added some new demos which mix the sounds from the two soundsets. Took a bit longer than I thought, wanted to do only one more demo but ended up with five.
Either check the websites of the soundsets or the announcement thread here in the u-he forum for the links to the new demos: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 83#4197383
