Hi,
I have bought mdrummer a few days ago and it is a great VSTi but I can't figure out why mdrummer starts to play when I edit the MIDI-Notes (Songstructur)in my sequencer. I use Reaper for recording but in Cubase it was the same problem. That is very annoying. It would be great if someone could explain me which settings I have to change to solve this.
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
it is caused by the DAW sending the notes the same when the playback is enabled. Unfortunately this cannot be just disabled, because people may want to listen to the rhythm actually and this would basically stop all rhythms when playback is disabled. Some DAWs contain an option to disable this when playback is disabled. We could theoretically make this optional in MDrummer.

Actually, that makes sense. How about a small FR: When DAW is in STOP mode, when triggering loops with MIDI notes, play the loop until a note off is sent. (ie: Release will stop loop automatically, otherwise will keep playing when note is still held.)

I think this doesn't make much sense, since this is usually used to preview rhythms.
