anyone run a sequencer plugin into zebra/ace/filterscape VA?

I'm just wondering what sequencers "play nice" with the way u-he plugs (zebra mostly) handles CCs and whatnot... Looking at reaktor ensembles, consequence, and thesys mostly.

I have it working good with Thesys in both vst and au format.
For the au you have to add another bus in the midi utility, and switch to it, from withing the Thesys ui to use it, but it works fine.
I had no real problem with it yet, on mac os10.6.+

Although it's not a plugin (yet) I really like using
u-he synths inside Numerology. I've also used Thesys
with good results.

I feel like such a noob for asking this, but in those combos is it easy to be sending zebra a combination of sequencer data and data from a midi controller? Just wondering if I could sequence some of zebra's xys while still using the touchpad on my remote SL to control another one :/

In Numerology this would be pretty straightforward, it's really a pretty dynamic package. It might involve routing between a few modules but the basic modules are simple and flexible, so it's not too much of a puzzle to work that out.

I hate to say "Numerology will be in AU form soon" since I was saying the same thing a year ago, but it looks like that's getting closer, and Numerology 3 is very pretty - I really like this host, I usually feel pretty productive with it.

Using the vst of Thesys seems to be easier going with that.
The au version has a difference in how it sends/receives messages than the vst.
Either way Thesys has a lot of assignable automation slots, not to mention the keys can be used to send a lot of data themselves.
Try the demo out. It doesn't have a lot of restrictions either.

Yeah, my sig is actually slightly out of date, I now use a windows 7 desktop as well and ableton live on both... Unfortunately my new "cross platform" two computer arrangement precludes me from using numerology unless they start developing for both OSX and windows :/

Thesys in live sounds like it'll work great though.
