Hi William,
Perhaps its a side-effect of my day job that I always have my usability hat on, but I am in love with Eve but offered a few ideas for improving usability:
1. Allow users to "cycle through" the sounds within each soundset by clicking on the image found in the window at the top of each channel. For example, when you launch Eve you see 2 channels of "CP70B Soft." I think usability would increase exponentially if you hadthe option of clicking on this image, and having the next sound ("D6 Clavinet Hard") load. This would eliminate as many as 3 steps.
2. Again, I think usability would increase of (as you work on a given channel) the "panel" would change color: allowing you to tell at a glance which channel you are working on.
I use Eve all the time, and love it, but I think these suggestions would help make Eve even more beautiful.

Just so you know, the "ROTATE" option was a GREAT idea and today I implemented it. I'm just testing a few things before I do the next update. (Free, small file, don't worry)
The "color-change" on the panel being edited is a bit more complicated, so for now I will leave on my "wish-list".
