Hi everyone,
I apologize if this topic has been brought up before, but I couldn't find anything related within the forums. Basically, I'm trying to create a Deadmau5 Faxing Berlin type patch using the arpeggiator. For the uninitiated, it's a keys patch that will trigger user-played chords (not arpeggiate them) in an 8th note sequence. The phenomenon I'm noticing is that when I only play one note, the arpeggiator will sometimes play a unison of that note (at the number of voices selected within the arpeggiator). This creates unwanted phasing artifacts. I will explain my approach if anyone would be kind enough to replicate.
1)Init patch
2)Set voice mode to 'arpeggiator'
3)In Arp/Seq tab set --> Arp Sync:1/8, Oct:0, Steps:2
4)Change the number of voices under each step from 1 to 5
Now, just try playing one (short) note at random intervals. You should notice the unison phasing on the first note occasionally. Is this a bug? Is there any way around this? Thanks in advance to anyone willing to look into this!

Hi, hmmm... not quite sure... can you send me the patch to anybody@u-he.com?
Also, of course a rendition as mp3 would be cool as well.
There might be an easy fix once I know what you mean
Thanks,
Urs

Thanks for the files!
Really interesting, and it's definately a bug. As soon as there's at least one step with more than 1 voice in the sequence, the arp sometimes starts with two voices - even if only 1 note is pressed.
Sheesh, I hate touching the arp code, but this needs to be fixed. I also have to reimplement Swing, so I've gotta open it up anyway. Hope to fix it until release of 64-bit versions.
