Galileo by MaxSynths! Using it now for my NA2SC track and loving it :)

It was a popular candidate for a One-Synth-Challenge some months ago, but due to incompatitbility with some systems, it was defferred. But it works for me, great sounds, easy on CPU.

LOL! I've actually been trying to trim the fat. I've got a long way to go, but I hope to shorten the list to a few SUPER-FANTASTIC plugins that have the following charateristics: really stable, compatible with all hosts, flexible, nice looking, low on CPU, sounds great, and free. I just haven't had the time to go through everything and sort things out. I just seem to add to the list without subtracting from it. :-)

TBH: I haven't really done anything with the list lately.....

Mass-turbo-tar from the dev challenge.. some crazy sounds , just assign one of your keyboard controllers to the morph knob and off you go!
some of the sounds you get aren't too far off massive/ACE territory.

Usine free gets a lot of use here :)

I like Drumatic, I find it very enjoyable to tweak and I'm not even good at synth programming.

Aside from that, another name-dropping with SQ8L
A lot of nice ones have been mentoned, but I have to agree with SQ8L. It is one synth that I would surely buy if it was released commercially.

When IS it going to be released commercially? :?

+1 My thoughts exactly - A monsterous sounding synth - positively killer - a bit of a challenge to install iirc but well worth it!!!

on second thought,

the human voice/ear/brain is the best free analog synthesizer in my book.

I've got 2. Proteus VX and Ogun.

Now if only there was some way to CATALOG Ogun presets, it would be the world's best synth, let's face it. As it is, you go on looking forever convinced the one you want is the next one in line.,.

Is Ogun a joke or a real synth? You tell me

But Proteus VX is sure for real and awesome.
