Mac OSX 10.6.4 breaks AU once again. SB fixes in the works?

I recently bought an intel based Mac and it came with OSX 10.6.4.. When validating AU plugins I've created in Sonic Birth, any Mono to Stereo Plugins crash the validation.

After doing some research I have learned that this has to do with the OS not the particular DAW.

Are there any open source developers willing to update the Audio Units exportation routines in Sonic Birth to make them compatible with OSX 10.6.4?

I'd appreciate any comments or discussion.. I love sonic birth and want it to survive!

Apparently that version is the most current. Any programmers out there feel like tackling the Apple AU validation changes?

I wish I had more time to explore its code, as it is on my to-do list to learn AudioUnit coding... I've done the test projects, is SB's code very cryptic?
