Hi,
it would be nice if it is possible to install only the vst 3 version and if the plugins would be categorized in equalozer, dynamics and so on and not as a own folder. It is not easy to find the needed plugin within the total bundle.
thanks and greetings

Hi I'm afraid this probably won't be possible due to backward compatibility technical reasons, though I'll check. But I think in MTotalBundle you can enable or disable interfaces, I'll verify. What edition and OS do you use?

Indeed the MTotalBundle installer does not ask for interfaces, will be fixed (hopefully). But I'm saying no to the categorization, because it would actually collide between our products. It may be possible in VST3 though, not sure yet.

Hi,
I use Windows 7 32bit and I only own the MMastering Bundle and the MCreative Bundle, not the TotalBundle, sorry.
Please integrate the seperate installation of VST2 and VST3 versions in this bundle too.
The categorisation would be great for the VST3 Plugins!!!! It is so helpfull in finding the right Plugin, because within all Plugins in one folder you have to search inside 48 Plugins (TotalBundle) at the moment. I'm losing time and it's not fun.
Thanks and greetings
Marek

I understand that and I agree. The question only is if it will be possible, because of the backward compatibility and conflicts with other plugins.
The problem is this:
If you install a single plugin, it would be placed in a subfolder, so then in the host you would have for example Meldaproduction/Equalizers/MAutoEqualizer. Not very good, since it is one more step. But it cannot be placed elsewhere, because the user may then upgrade to a bundle and the location must be the same, otherwise there would be now 2 plugin DLLs.
VST3 could be a solution, if the hosts (Cubase seems to be the only one relevant for mentioning right now) do not use this for identification (which they should not). In that case we could do different categorization for separate plugins and bundles, or I think it may be best to provide categories under VST3 and not under VST2.
