I am pleased to officially announce the impending release of Sequent 1.1, a massive update to our modular sequenced beat-mangling tool.

Native 64-bit versions
Sequent 1.1 comes as a native 64-bit plugin in Windows VST, and Mac OS X Audio Unit formats.

New Preset Browser
The new preset browser supports searching, has meta-data for author name and preset notes, and allows presets to be tagged. It also has hot-swap previewing of presets. (The complete feature list for this component can be found here.)

Improved Router UI
  • Effect blocks now visually reflect whether an effect is on or off.
  • Effects can now be toggled on and off by double-clicking them.
  • Unused effects can now be removed from the Router.
  • Flows between effects can now be removed by right-clicking anywhere on the cable.
  • Flows can now be created by dragging from both effect inputs, and outputs.
Component Level Preset Support
You can now create partial presets for each individual effect. As with the new preset browser, this allows in context hot-swap previewing.

Other improvements
  • Massively quicker start-up time.
  • Various minor bug fixes and tweaks to improve host compatibility.
Sequent 1.1 will be available for download early September. Sequent is available for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux, in VST, Audio Unit, RTAS, and Standalone formats.
Architect, the modular MIDI toolkit, beta now available for macOS, Windows, and Linux.

Sequent is already getting some good use in my setup but the new features sound great Colin, the component level preset system in particular is a nice idea!
