I have a really fast computer, some good mics, vintage musical instruments, and lots of fancy software. Just need some talent

2) You will need to incorporate at least one child instrument. Yes, it can be sampled.
A child can be an instrument, yes ... a pretty powerful one :tu:

Interesting fact: Homo sapiens has natural diaphragmatic breathing and perfect solo-singing tongue/throat positioning at birth - so it can scream real loud with minimum effort.

Good luck folks!
Every time you use autotune, God kills a kitten.
Please, think of the kittens.

Erm, what is a child instrument?

I applaud this new direction! I was just getting up the gumption to write reviews this month anyway. If this works out, it should be a requirement going forward :-)

Thanks for clearing up what a "child instrument" is. Children's Instruments, as we might say (Recorders, toy pianers, toy accordians). At first I thought it was some obscure technical term, like how an Eb clarinet may be a child of a regular clarinet, or a cornet may be a child of a trumpet. Fortunately we have childrens so children's instruments are in no short supply around here (and I should be getting my Zoom H4n today! :D ).

nice. i wish there was some way to set this up so that every entrant got about the same number of reviews. we all love (need!) feedback/critique from our brethren and sistren, yes? :-)

And if your (speaking inclusively) song doesn't get any reviews it means it was either really good or really bad.

why would a really good song get no reviews?

Will any 10 do, or just my votees?

Any 10 will do.

My thought is that your top ten will be much easier to write a review for because you like it. But I wanted to leave it open, so that someone for example could be a Simon, and write about the 10 worst.

So it's open

Well, you wouldn't want to draw attention to its awesomeness, would you? ;-)
