That's very weird. Here they've always all worked.

Do you start several downloads at once, btw? Or in other words, does it happen if you just start one download at a time?

I don't think I'd know how to start concurrent downloads if I wanted to. :)

BTW, I just tried a couple again and am still getting to 404 error.

Well, do you start new downloads when the first one hasn't finished yet?

In no cases do I do that. The downloads that error out end almost immediately, with the event and status placed in the list box of the download manager almost immediately. For those downloads that have succeeded, I let them run until the list box entry appears and the status marked as complete (or whatever success statis is ... I'm not at my home machine).

I can't really make sense of it. Could you:
1. open the folder c:\Program Files\Image-Line\Downloader\Temp in Windows Explorer (it would be "c:\Program Files x86" for a 64bit version of Windows)
2. make sure there's nothing in that folder
3. try to download one preset (category) for Morphine
4. when it fails, close the download manager
5. send me the .info file in the Temp folder from step 1. Email it to frederic AT flstudio DOT com

I'll do it as soon as I have a chance ... which may not be until this weekend.

Thanks.

Any chance the Download Manager requires a particular java runtime? The one on my machine may very well be ancient (not at that machine right now). This problem seems to be something unique to my environment, so I'm just looking for anything that may be atypical.
