HG,
would you ever contemplate creating a music generation app using fractal math, or incorporating it into your existing applications?

Hmm ... as of state right now I don't think so as I'm fairly pissed off and really considering to stop this whole VSTi matter.Untamed Spirit wrote:HG,

One point among others is lack of support here from users of free versions ...

Fortune-- I only own Atonoise Pro at the moment (and have used some of your free offerings in the past), but I wanted you to know that I certainly appreciate all the effort you put into your synths (as do many that haunt these parts), and maybe we don't take the time or say it enough, but your talents would be sorely missed. Please don't get too discouraged...
I am the musical equivalent of a brick...

Thanks! But it's not that easy to be set back on course again atm.hivefleetmegalon wrote:Fortune-- I only own Atonoise Pro at the moment (and have used some of your free offerings in the past), but I wanted you to know that I certainly appreciate all the effort you put into your synths (as do many that haunt these parts), and maybe we don't take the time or say it enough, but your talents would be sorely missed. Do I have to behave like an asshole here to get an appropriate amount of attention and feedback? I do NOT have any questionable past. And to my POV it's quite shameful at all to what extend someone with at least a questionable conduct is "supported" here. This balance is completely out of order ...
Anyway I'll be absent here for at least a week.
I'll be checking emails though, so in case of 'emergency' I can be reached.

Would you mind telling us what you're referring to, since I'm sure most people don't know?Fortune wrote:

sorry to hear things are not as they should be.
Enjoy your week.
Everything will be fine, take a nice deep breath

Don't know the circumstances, don't need to know. I am one of those who has paid money (confidence and appreciation) to acquire one of your tools, XWOF-6, and have download AvatarST for exploration. I find your contributions worthwhile and realize that you will make your own decisions whether we applaud or not. Work in any creative field has to be about one's own sense of it being worthwhile. If it depended on the plaudits of others, few artists would bother. Occasional acknowledgment is always appreciated, so I am bothering to let you know. Best to you on your own process.

Guenter, I think I know of what you are speaking of, but
anyway, I am sorry to hear of it understandingly upsetting you.
I, along with many others support you. I don't always have
the time to frequent this board, however, I do support you every
chance I get by promoting you and your products.
Keep your chin up my friend, you are too nice a person to
let things like what I think you are upset about, bother you...
still...I understand the frustration...you will always
have my support.

I also think I know what you are talking about, and if it's any consolation I think it's also pretty ridiculous about how someone with such a dubious past now has public supporters when the good guys like you get overlooked.
But please, don't let it bring you down - there are people who appreciate your work - I'm one of them as an owner of pro Arracis Gold and AtoNoise Pro.

I fully agree with the others...
there are many musicians supporting your awesome work, it might eventually be too silent but definitely alive.
Personally I have almost all of your synths and all the new ones have been upgraded to pro version
i use them very often in the most unexpected scenarios, even if i'm not a pro and the genre of sound is probably not your preference, i would like to share my production just to remind everyone how versatile your instruments are.
I used them in each of these tracks to create sound-scapes, effects and often main sounds with fast-paced-rhythms and a dark psychedelic twist...
The tracks are already on KVR in the MusicCafe, here a direct link to the 2 sets: http://soundcloud.com/darksunprojekt
