Hi,
I just demoed the new Freq Shifter and tried programming some patches. I had about 5 crashes and finally gave up. Especially when touching the record sliders within the Plug Logic will crash right away. This is using Logic 9.1.1 on OSX 10.6.4
I had issues with the MBand Harmonizer when it came out (which I bought right away, glad I didn't this time) so I wonder if you actually do any betatesting or just release the Plugs in Beta state with severe Bugs on board and let us potential buyers do the testing for you?
Thank's
SC

Hi,
well, I check, but so far no reports like that. You have to understand, that these plugins are like 10x more complex than most plugins on the market and this may cause some troubles. It's generally impossible to test it on all hosts, and on Mac OS it is especially problematic.
Anyway an update should be released soon, and it fixes some stability issues, though not sure if this will solve your problem.
Please if you'd have any particular problems, let me know via info@meldaproduction.com. I'll supply a debug version, which will generate log and some other stuff, which may help us resolving the issue.

Thank's for the fast reply. The problem is that I am now so put off by this Plug that I will most probably never touch it again. I thought this was a one time issue when we checked the issues I had with the Harmonizer some monts ago and your help was fast and efficient but experiencing this a second time just annoys me a little. The more complex your Plugs may be the more betatesting you should invest to make them stable on release imo.

The thing is, the plugins share kernel, so I believe it should be fairly stable right now. But as my teacher on college once said, there will never be a bugless program
. Anyway please wait for the update, a few days I think, and if you get courage to try again and something happens, please let me know.
