Hey guys, bit of a noobie here.. I'm messing around with LFOs in Sylenth1 and I'm seeing that one of the built in waveforms is a sine wave. I noticed that if I use that with 1/4 notes (sync'ed to the track), I'll get one period every 1/4 note.. great.
But it seems I can't make the wave peak on the upbeat instead of the downbeat.. basically what I'd like to do is flip the wave so that the peak is on the right and the valley is on the left... or having the ability to shift the wave horizontally would accomplish the same thing. Keep in mind I still want it to cycle every 1/4 note, but I want the swell of volume on the upbeat.
Any pros who can help?

That doesn't seem to do what I want to do. It seems like offset shifts the entire wave vertically (against some ceiling or floor values), not horizontally (offset in time).
I say this because regardless of the offset value, as soon as I trigger a note, it always starts on the top peak of the wave. I want something where when I trigger it, it first goes down, then up (instead of the default up then down).
The manual says "the Offset knob can be used to add a positive or negative constant value to output of the LFO." That sounds to me that it's adding a value to the y coordinate (amplitude) of the wave, not the x coordinate (time).

Does the LFO have an invert button? AFAIK no.Examigan wrote:

But it would be cool to be able to do the same Invert function on an LFO if it isn't available like you say.
