MOR has some heavy guitars some sampled distorted such as les paul deluxe.
The deluxe was sampled with a marshall and a bogner. You can mix them or choose either one.The bogner is real dark and heavy. The ibinez 7 string is recorded through a crank amp. It sounds thinner than the lp.but the articulations are very agressive, great attitude!the 7 string also has a clean channel.I'm struggling to get good souns with amp sims , so the sampled distortiom is a plus.
I also have and like shreddage, electri6ity , and prominy sc.These libraries
are more detailed Than MOR.But MOR is more redy to go out of the box. plus
You get some good basses and drums.

Not the cheapest ones admittedly, but how about RealStrat or RealLPC combined with Amplitube?
I do exist in Second Life, but my music is is from First Life.

As a guitarist for many years electri6ity is the only one that has impressed me. Its the most realistic of them all. If I wasn't a guitarist or couldn't play anymore I would buy it.progtronic wrote:I'm using vir2's, electri6ity (for kontakt 4) vst for all my metal guitar stuff. they're direct samples so you'd need an amp sim to go with it. I'm using guitar rig.
I used electri6ity on these two remixes:

reFX Slayer if you just want a VSTi that makes Great Rock/Metal Guitar sounds. It's Synthetic but you will Never be able to tell in a mix anyway. That's if you know how to program decent riffs.

Are all the guitars in them tracks produced with VSTs ?progtronic wrote:I'm using vir2's, electri6ity (for kontakt 4) vst for all my metal guitar stuff. they're direct samples so you'd need an amp sim to go with it. I'm using guitar rig.
