One-Synth-Challenge 20 - Noisemaker!

I have just uploaded a track. Now I'm mainly trying to get around the SpamAlert. Choosing my words wisely, but apparently not wisely enough....
[third edit] I couldn't upload the requested textfile, because the uploader doesn't accept anything but audio files, so I added some stuff in the track info instead.
That said, I've been lurking here for a few months, and this one-synth-only restriction was really inspiring - had to leave my closet and give it a shot.

Welcome to the challenge
As we're switching from 4shared to SoundCloud, there's a bit of confusion with where the list of VSTs used should go, sorry about that, but for this OSC 20 it's SoundCloud only so a writeup here in the thread is the correct way.
It's nice to have as a SoundCloud track info too like you've done, but sooner or later all files will be moved to Archive.org only which is why the list should primarily be as a post here.

Thank you, and here's a cut and paste from the info:
The SporkSurgery submission data:
20 instances of NoiseMaker in Reaper. One single ReaDelay (Cockos) used in the mix.
Final polishing done with ReaEQ and ReaXComp (Cockos), Pushtec 5+1A EQ (Leftover Lasagne) and Invisible Limiter (A.O.M), while checking technical quality with Spectrum Analyzer (Seven Phases) and Bitter (Schwa).
For reasons unknown, I cannot mention the title of my track, because it gets flagged as spam :)

Yes, I already informed him, he was very kind and answered promptly. On his website this is listed as known bug that will be fixed in some future release. I know it's worth the wait

Shame about the bug and an extremely weird one. VSTs not working in Cubase, the default VST app?
Were you to write something, you could of course load 2, mono them and pan with the same patch.
Or use the Reaper demo. (demo is fully working with save, render - the lot)

Too complicated, I'll just wait and have fun with it when it works

Hi all. I don't believe we've met.
I saw this 'One Synth Challenge' thread a couple of days ago and thought... cool! I've been producing bits and bobs for a while however my synth programming skills are a bit naff and this is a great way to improve them.
So.... gonna upload to Soundcloud just now.
Cheers!
[Edit] I've uploaded but not sure how to do the textfile thing. Here's a copy of it though....
Made using 15 instances of TAL NoiseMaker within Ableton Live...........
Used 5 free vst plugins: EasyQ EQ, AnwidaSoft DX Reverb Light, AcmeBarGig Aftershock Delay, Elogoxa and finally Audio Damage's Rough Rider over the master track. Sidechain ducking effect created with volume envelopes.

According to MusicRadar, Noisemaker is at the top of the list of what they call "The best free vst plugins in the world today"

Not a bad effort!

You don't say!crimsonwarlock wrote:... and of course totally subjectiveK-Bee wrote:Not a bad effort!
I reckon most people around here would put Synth1 at the top of the list mainly because of it's ability to fit in pretty much every track.

But admittedly Noisemaker is quite a nice synth. It took me some time to appreciate Elek7tro so maybe this one will grow on me too (<- just to get a bit back on topic
