EvilDragon wrote:Sadly, the latest version of Synth1 doesn't load all banks, it loads only one preset in the bank, and we can't switch them. I hope something can be done with regards to this. Also, I have tried creating two VFX presets using different Synth1 patches, but VFX application froze in that case. I dunno what to think of that. Perhaps the wizard should copy the Patches folder to the V-Machine to make it work?
Has anyone tried and tested the latest version v1.12 of Synth1 on V-Machine?
I would love Synth1 to work properly on it, without above mentioned the problems with banks and patches. It determines if I'm going to buy one or not.
The more I hang around at KVR the less music I make.

My report is about v1.12...

Other than that, V-M's CPU is just fine for Synth1.

Thanks for your answer EvilDragon.
So I can conclude v1.11 does work flawlessly which is not all that different from v1.12. :)
Time to finally buy that buggy wonderful V-machine.

Now I do have to find Synth1 v1.11 somewhere. It's not on Toda's site for download anymore.
I have kept some older versions but no v1.11.

If someone knows where it can still be found, or otherwise upload or mail it that would be great!

I would also like to ask for v1.11 if someone has it.

Thanks. ;) Its the first place one would look for Synth1 though. On his site there's only a download link for the latest (v1.12) version. The other links are for update information and installation direction.

We're hoping now for someone who has v1.11 still lingering somewhere on their harddrive and willing to share it.

Yea, sorry, I noticed that right after I made the post.
There is a video posted to youtube that is a demo of 1.11 that was posted in May of this year. I sent a message to the poster to see if I can get it. I'll let you know.

blah, musicians friend moved back the date to november, i dont feel like waiting that long.

anyone with suggestions where to order one of these in the US, someplace that has it in stock maybe?

and one thing id like anyone to test is running 2 of the freeware and vmachine approved g-snaps on seperate inputs.

http://www.gvst.co.uk/gsnap.htm

one on channel 1 with the left input activated, and one on channel 2 with the right input activated.

and maybe a send echo, i dont care about it being summed at the outputs ill use a mono return anyways.

heres a vmachine approved echo i like:
