Troubleshooting:
- Zebra Difficulties
Urs wrote:The best idea is moving Zebra2.data out of the write protected zone (C:\Program Files\...) alltogether:
- open Vstplugins directory which holds Zebra2.dll in Explorer and locate "Zebra2.data"
- move the whole folder Zebra2.data to C:\Users\You\Documents\
- right-click Zebra2.data in new location and create a shortcut (symbolic link)
- move the shortcut back to Vstplugins, in the same directory as Zebra2.dll
- rename the shortcut back to "Zebra2.data" if it's called "Zebra2.data shortcut" or anything else
This way Zebra follows the shortcut to look for its resources and permissions within Vstplugins\ do not matter anymore.
Windows (default):
VST Plugs: C:\Program Files\vst plugins
Presets: C:\Program Files\vst plugins\Zebra2.data\Presets\Zebra2
Extra resources: C:\Program Files\vst plugins\Zebra2.data\...
** As noted above, this may be altered if permissions problems occur!
OS X:
AU Components: Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/
VST Plugs: Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/
Presets: Library/Audio/Presets/u-he/
Extra resources: Library/Application Support/u-he/
