yeah, that would be awesome.also a wav2zebra feature would be great, but if i remember correctly you said somewhere that it's not that simple as we think :) sorry for the off

Absolutely my favourite ever soft synth <3 <3 <3. is there a way to do pulsewidth modulation or something like it on the squarewave? i'm basically trying to achieve a detune/unison/chorus type effect using just one oscillator.

That's not yet possible because of the PD-nature of the oscillators (strictly Casio CZ style waveforms at the moment). I have however planned to try a PD-ish PWM-effect as an extra waveform. Dunno if it works and how it will sound though.

Just thought i'd report that i actually got an effect very similar to what i was after by assigning a slow lfo (with a bit of keyfollow on the rate) to the fractal res. Very nice for pads/strings and bass but something like the voice stacking in ACE would be quite cool, and a bit scary as far as the scope for cpu usage goes .

Just click on the preset name in the top of the plugin and a list of all presets found will be shown.

Thanks for the reply.
Ive had to move the supplied presets from the 'Bazille Start' folder and move them one up in the folder hierarchy.
ie
from
C:\vstplugins\_SYNTHS\bazille\Bazille.data\Presets\Bazille\BazilleStart

to
C:\vstplugins\_SYNTHS\bazille\Bazille.data\Presets\Bazille

do you plan on including x/y control in bizalle?

Not as of yet.

I'm currently juggling some ideas including preset morphing and setting transitions based on steps within a sequencer.

I'm sure there'll be something of some sort going sooner or later.

...donno if it's worth a user posting an opinion on this, but heck[mann :hihi: ], here goes:

Preset morphing is a waste of time, in my books in anyway. I have a whole pile of payware synths that have preset morphing, and to be very honest, it's not really worth anything in the real world. Sure poeple might have an idea about how to use it, but but it's just not as cool as what it sounds like on paper. If I had a vote, I'd say, don't worry about it, unless there is a very clear reason to include it. If it's on the "nice to have" list, scrap it, cause nobody actually uses it, and if someone says they do, and it's their favourite feature, they're f$%^ng lying :D

PS: I'm really starting to get into the swing of Bazille, absolute beast in it's current state already... actually, come to think of it, I haven't touched any other synth in 5 days at least. :? Thanks :hihi:

(I wasn't thinking of traditional preset morphing, I was rather thinking of a quick way to add movement to any fader/knob at any time)

Post

Something along the lines of the mutate-function in Absynth perhaps? With the rate of mutation controllable through a sequencer.

Synplant also has a neat way of adding movement to a sound - although it's completely uncontrollable (mutate allows for a tiny bit more control).

Ah, I see, well, that will fall into the "very clear reason to include it" category. Carry on
