Hi, my all time favorite patch is "diva" that howard made for the virus... I've always loved it and in my new musical project I'm using that patch extensively - it's kind of a theremin patch but with a bit of something special (magic howard dust) in it... anyway, I know that howard is doing zebra patches exclusively now so I was curious if he has recreated that patch for the zebra... thanks in advance...

I can't find a patch of that name in my Virus (although I do remember making one). Where is it, which model?

There is a patch like that in TimewARP 2600 called "Triangular Diva" which i just recreated on my Waldorf Blofeld...

I have a bank call "analog filter sounds" and they're all patches by you (HS) and someone named (BC) - I'm not sure where I got the bank from, but I think it was for the virus C originally...

It used to be a featured patch in the media player of the virus homepage - but it's been gone for a while. It's one of the reasons I bought my virus and I remember how disappointed I was when I couldn't find that patch in the factory presets after I bought it and how happy I was when I tracked down this bank.

Let me know if you want me to send you the bank... It would be nice to be able to use a soft synth (like zebra) over the virus... basically with the virus, I use TI, but then resample it to another track and disable the original virus track because while I love my virus, it doesn't always play nice (crashes/multiple instance pains/no bouncing/etc.)...

I guess I'm saying if that patch was recreated, I would buy a zebra...

I had a listen to this, might be fun to try something similar.

I do have a female singer opera type preset in my vision bank, called Mothra (leads), and another one Alien Spam Flute MIX (remix or arp), that sound somewhat similar.

I looked your preset on the u-he site... sounds like you're very generous with the presets... If I get zebra, I'll be excited to download the patches...

The demo, loads and saves presets, so you can try sounds anyway.

mcnoone, those are some awesome sounds you made. you're quite a sound designer. If I get zebra - I will definitely donate to your site... I still haven't found a suitable replacement for the diva patch yet though...

I only just rediscovered this thread. Fine, I will make a "Diva" clone if you send me the original Virus patch. Might as well send the whole bank
