Fantastic going to buy that later today!
daHornet has always been one of my favorite synths and I missed it!!
I'd be very interested in the commercial version if it comes out too.
Thanks again and keep up the good work!

Did anybody here get the UB-Version of dahornet from liqihsynth ? I payed the 9 USD via paypal and tried to contact them, but got no sign of living from them
Is this company still alive or did I lose my 9$ ?
thanks

someone posted in another thread saying that Liqih, the developer, was ill at the moment.horacewimp wrote:Did anybody here get the UB-Version of dahornet from liqihsynth ? I payed the 9 USD via paypal and tried to contact them, but got no sign of living from them

thanks for the quick answer ! OK, that maybe the reason - so it seems i have no other chance than to wait and hope for a quick healing !
But:
i just took a look at my paypal-account: the payment was sent to dashsignature, so anyone there should have noticed that ? Or is it all just one person ?
strange....

It's all just one person now. I think in the past DashSignature was a joint venture, but that hasn't been the case for a long time. It's probably no secret to say other people may be involved from time to time to help with things like OS X ports, but the company behind them all Liqih's only.horacewimp wrote: i just took a look at my paypal-account: the payment was sent to dashsignature, so anyone there should have noticed that ? I bought the UB version and its honestly one of the best emulations
Ive ever heard.I have the Virus for the powercore and may synths but
daHornet gets more use than any of my other synths.

I've been testing alot of synths (free and otherwise) and I come back to daHornet's sound again and again. I love it! This thing, historically, was seemingly a milestone. Just my limited opinion, but I would love to see this bad boy expanded a bit. I'd def buy it (I did get the nusofting bundle last week). I know it would then become a different beast entirely, but nothing wrong with that. Turn this thing into a poly and it could do some damage... at least in my studio

There was already a plan to expand daHornet, but it looked that its "uniqueness"jamiejame911 wrote:I've been testing alot of synths (free and otherwise) and I come back to daHornet's sound again and again. could have been lost that way.
You know, there are so many "analogue" soft synths already.
Anyway, since I will be porting it to 64 bit we could start discussing here which features could be really usefull to add

I'm not one to really make a request list (others with far more experience than I should), but any features that do not change the filters and just add more options (besides effects as we can do that ourselves) would make this bad boy speak up again in this overly saturated market (as you enumerated). For something so old it's sound is still pretty much priceless. If G-Force are gonna revamp the Imp, I see no reason why daHornet can't be reinvigorated for 2010 and beyond, with you guys incurring a profit.
Just my amateur thoughts...

After playing with this thing daily and giving it a lil bit more thought:
1-A 5 or 6 Oct keyboard would be nice
2-A third Osc (would allow for obsene sound possibilities)
3-More waveforms (paired with #2 above for even more radical noise choices)
Funny thing is that I never knew this was polyphonic until today lol. I assumed it was mono. I accidentally put in more than 1 note and took notice. Pretty nubbish!

I'd really like to get this -- but how/where do you get the actual plug-in?
