KICKASS!! ;) Shall I remove the box link I've got up?
(I don't mind removing it if you prefer people getting it from the U-He site)

It's up to you if you want to remove the box.net link. Just shoot me a PM if you decide to update it further and want the link on the u-he site updated. :)

Thanks for sharing the presets btw!

Do you have any plans to add the re-tuning capabilities
available in Zebra and ACE to Bazille?

But of course!

(It's probably in there already, just no visual representation yet, as with the actual preset browser)

Thanks Urs. I'll look forward to the actual visual
representation when you have the time to implement it.
Cheers,
Scott :D

Cheers bmrzycki. I'll flick you a PM with the next update this weekend (and then from there on I'll not bother posting a public link on box any more... although, I do like seeing the "accessed" number raising.)

Bank V3 upped on U-he site:

PS: as always, as these are dry presets, add a tiny bit of reverb + slow, shallow phaser + delay, in which ever order you fancy and you'll be away laughing!

I've been messing with creating drum hits and so far bazille is the best synth i've found for the job (thank you so much for the great envelopes!!!). one request though: ableton's operator gives you the choice of looped (static, a sample i guess) noise as well as white. this opens up new things you can do as far as synthesizing claps and other midrange type percussions as you dont get the erratic clicking and oddness around the attack of the sound that usually comes with making percussion on a synth and i wish it was something you see more. is there a way to to do this in bazille (without using up precious oscillators that are needed elsewhere), and if not who do i have to kill for it to be implemented? :D I imagine its pretty simple and there's a nice bit of space for it right next to the other noise outputs *nudge nudge wink wink*

I'll be upping my preset pack very soon, just finishing the final tweaks.

I know that you don't want to use oscillators but doing so to create pitched noise can create a similar effect. Just feed a noise source to the sample and hold signal input and feed an audio oscillator to the trigger input, then send the s&h output to a filter. Send the same output to the filter cutoff mod input for a denser tone.

Keep in mind that the oscillator outputs can be sent to more than one destination, so you can't really use them up.

So Bazille is better than zebra in terms of sound?
Or is it the same engine but with different routing/modulation possiblities?
Do they use the same oscillators? The same filters?

Not really. Bazille has a set of strengths that complement Zebra.

Different oscillators, Zebra's XMF is similar to Bazille's filters.

...and circular routing!

Hi Urs

Ed Solo here, Im a DnB & Dubstep Producer (check me out on Beatport & Juno)

I found this thread because i was looking for a virtual Casio CZ101 or VZ1 as i have recently been interested in "Phase Distotion" Synthesis

Anyway, Bazille is great, here is a demo i have made after a few days of having it.
All sounds except the drums are from Bazille, i have just put a slight bit of EQ and reverb on the sounds.

None of the patches use the LFO's or the filters, i like the way you can detune an oscillator by "beats" which lets me use it like a LFO.

It would be nice if an input could accept a patch cord from 2 different outputs

Also, i still can not get the H2p files to work, what is the file path ? im on a mac

Im starting to build a lot of patches, i can give you some for the presets if you are interested ?

Ed
It's all relative

Ok, so, I'm COnnfuuzzzde ! Is Bazille the predecessor to ace?

I'm sure I'm over looking something. Eyez iz cunnFuzed

I can't wait for this thing to be done!
