I would beg you to reconsider if it's not a major code thing to add a larger range to each of the 'virtual' tuners in some future version (like maybe four semitones each direction?) just for us 'experimentalists' out here
A special key combination perhaps? It really is cool to take a 'straight' progression and start collapsing or expanding certain normally familiar guitar-like intervals in them...could be a whole new virtual genre! 
btw, I instantly knew I would get 'Guitarist' when I saw it's present semitone range, it was what I had missed so badly on all the others I own (Real Guitar, Strum, etc)
Add a Chapman Stick 'Tapper' and loadable microtuning tables and I would probably die right then and there lol!
