Here's the Synthesis page of Zebra 1.0 (December 2003):

The design was discussed very controversial back then. Many people loved it for being low contrast and easy to look at. But as many people hated it for looking like shit (literally).
Here ar some more screenshots of Zebra 1.5 (5 months later, May 2004):

The Performance and Settings views were mostly the same across versions, Zebra 1.5 only added the output meters on the top right.
The main change between 1.0 and 1.5 was that suddenly the Synthesis page sported the modular Grid and Racks for Audiomodules and Modulators. Which was basically the same thing as nowadays layout.
The Grid in Zebra 1.5 always showed all modules, with the inactive ones greyed out. The channel mixers A, B, C & D always occupied a whole row. The delay modules were precursors to the Comb filters, but they had dedicated output modules that could be placed anywhere in the signal path. The idea was, that one could simply put any filter into the feedback path. This was however difficult to manage and very hard to keep stable and/or in tune. Hence the Comb filter in Z2 became self contained and more flexible within themselves. The scope modules just beamed a peak meter into the levels on the top.

Btw. I'm maintaining a UB version of Zebra 1.5 Audio Unit. Anyone who bought a Zebra license before 2.0 can just drop me an email. This version is only suitable for opening old projects on IntelMacs though. Some major drawing errors on the Synthesis page make it impossible to edit sounds.
