A quick Zebrify question

I'd like to gate the input channel. The only way I have found to "gate" the input is to add a comb-filter as the first effect in the series, and modulate the "dry" dial. Is there another way to do it?

I've had some fun using some modules as 'sort-of-gate'-s, parameters modulated by the signals Zebrify generates by analyzing input ... examples: reverb with transient -> dry/envelope follow -> wet, or compressor with transient (lightly) -> output, or a filter set up the right way. Things can sound very unnatural, which might be good, but with a light touch that can really be brought down to the realm of subtle enhancement. Doing this with percussion loops is fun

yeah, set the sidechain to an empty channelUncleAge wrote:Thanks. I couldn't get that to work before. I guess I had the Sidechain and Input set to the same channel. another pebcac it seems...

I actually did the opposite. I set input on empty and sidechain to the channel I'm using. This kept me from having to invert the step sequence in the lfo.pdxindy wrote:yeah, set the sidechain to an empty channelUncleAge wrote:Thanks. I couldn't get that to work before. Either way, thanks again.
