at first I thought "nah" but then I see this in the email they sent: "Its October, which means that AES is just around the corner. You'll really want to come by our booth at this year's AES to see what we've been working on... we think you'll be impressed!! We could tell you what that is, but that would ruin the surprise. "

I've jumped on the sale bandwagon before to find the new thing comes out weeks later. I'm fighting a strong urge to buy now in case this happens. So I'm going to cross my fingers.

Exactly what I was thinking... I can't imagine they're going to announce Receptor 3. Granted, stranger things have happened in Muse-land before...buscemi wrote:Not sure, I really would have figured it was really all about MuseBox if I had to guess.

that would make sense if the musebox was on sale, but isn't receptor the only one on sale?

This is what the 129th AES' technical program says:
Muse Research and Development will show the RECEPTOR 2 hardware plug-in player, the pro solution for performing with virtual instruments and effects used by touring musicians worldwide. In addition, demonstrations of Muse Research's new MuseBox super portable, ultra-versatile musical instrument and effects box will be performed daily.
