Hey folks,

so beta of 4.00 is here. Major update focuses mainly on performance. Improvements has for some plugins exceeded 300%. It also adds "online preset exchange" system, which when enabled makes each plugin share your presets and receive new ones from other users. We are creating a community of musicians!

And there are also 2 new plugins. MMultiBandRhythmizer is an extended version of our MRhythmizer available exclusively for users of MTotalBundle and MCreativeBundle.
MMultiBandDynamicsLarge extends our MMultiBandDynamics by adding a sidechain and an additional processor. It is available inside MMultiBandDynamics package as well as in MTotalBundle and MMasteringBundle.

The update is available via update manager, update installer and newest installer for Windows users. Mac OS users and users of free plugins have to use the newest installer in all cases. Please note that at the moment it is a beta-version, however it seems very stable.

Please check it out and let me know if you have any problems.

I can't see the 4.00b installer for the free bundle (I also tried with the new 'Downloads' section and can't see it either).

Yay! Now MRhythmizer's modulators work as you explained to me in that mail Vojtech!

After reading your explanations several times I gave up because I thought it was just over my head. Now I can set it to 270 degrees and get the behavior I expected, thanks!

EDIT: yeah, just confirmed it. I just tried 3.02 and it doesn't behave like 4.00b, maybe you were already using 4.00b when you helped me some weeks ago

Excellent! You're always on top of your game! Could you elaborate on what plugins received the greatest performance boost (i.e. can i actually use all six bands of MConvolution without killing my computer)?

And on the subject of performance...If I just want to use one band of a plugin, is there any advantage to just using the regular free plugin as opposed to the multiband one?

Vojtech, you'll be glad to know I boldly tried a direct update for freebies 3.02 -> 4.00b and I had no problems at all in REAPER (previous updates caused GUI to vanish); have you done something to address the problem?

About convolution - it depends on many things

About using single-band plugin - the free ones do not have modulators and that's definitely a big advantage of multiband ones.

Ah, okay. But still, could you say which have received the greatest boost?

I should have elaborated: by advantage, I meant CPU usage wise, as opposed to feature wise.
