I am seeing some unexpected white lines (rectangle borders?) on the UI after selecting presets. The placement of the lines changes while cycling through the presets but the lines are always horizontal or vertical.
Example screenshot:

Windows 7 x64, Reaper 3.71. MFM2 x64 registered. Happy to send more screenshots or info, let me know.
EDIT: this is a UI issue only. The effects behave as expected thus far.

Yep !
A BIG thank you, Urs !
Installed MFM2 first, and did a quick test within Cubase 5, both 32 and 64 bit,
and also the 32 bit version inside Kore 2 (all on Vista x64).
So far seems good, also no UI issues here.
Only was a little confused with the installer, since it installed both
32bit and 64 bit of MFM 2 (into one destination), also with the recommended
setting ("copy data...) the presets and support files of the old installation
didn't migrate.
But I did back up my old files, and after moving the x64 dll into the right place and moving manually the presets und support files into the right place everythings ok.
Btw, are there any changes to Zebra, Uhbik and Ace as to the prior available x64 versions ?
Thanks and Cheers!

Sorry if this was asked and answered before, but do these installer feature updates in comparison to what already released for 32 bit platform?
And, do the installers include both 32 and 64 bit plugins?
Thank you,
Mario

At least for MFM 2 I can answer your questions with yesmabian wrote:Sorry if this was asked and answered before, but do these installer feature updates in comparison to what already released for 32 bit platform?

(still have to install the other plugins).
Both 32 and 64 bit included (see my prior post - before updating make a backup of your prior installation !), and the 32 bit version at least has fixed
an issue I had with the prior offical version inside Kore
(in regards to the LFOs with sync and "Restart every beat" and the like...).
So far I used for this reason the latest beta of MFM 2.
If there are any more differences between the new version and the latest beta of MFM 2, well,
Urs have to chime in.
Cheers

Installed now Filterscape, similar as above.
I also had to create a shortcut link to filterscape.data in the 64 directory to make the x64 version work.
Not so good: seems the automation list has changed - seems I have to re-save all koresounds (after redesigning the Kore controller pages), which I have saved with a prior (Beta-) version of Filterscape and FilterscapeVA...

I'll look into the automation list, have forgotten to check it - that one should be fixed in the final, so you won't need to update Kore files back and forth.losan wrote:Installed now Filterscape, similar as above.

As for changes, MFM2 and Filterscape have various ui improvements (preset favourites etc.), MIDI Program Changes, bug fixes and what not. Especially Filterscape has inherited a lot of things such as gui resize, independence of msvcrt71.dll, got rid of uhe_data directory in favour of movable Filterscape.data
Regarding 32/64 bit, do people have different locations for different flavours? Should I offer separate installers for each?

I'd go for different installers (any way to install 32 bit plugin on 64 bit platform using a single installer?)
A little glitch in current Zebra2 32 bits that maybe is worth checking: in REAPER, changing skin or GUI size causes scrollbars to show up wrong. I don't know if it's REAPER or Zebra2 fault...
Finally, any schedule for the final release?
Thank you,
Mario

Yeah, hmmm... maybe 2 installers then...
Final release will happen once I managed to get 64-bit VST2 Mac going... there's still a bit of work on the Mac side...
Oh... one more feature: Zebra has 2 new OscFX: "Phase Distortion" (sic!) and "Wrap" which I might rename to "Foldback" or something. With Phase Distortion you can create all non-resonant Casio CZ Waveforms, but it needs a little tutorial and presets. The resonant waveforms can already be created with the "Ripples" effect, which I might accompany with "Ripples II" to make it more intuitive. "Wrap" is insired by a posting here in another thread, and it does shamelessly insane Sync sounds - with different favour on positive and negative side. Combining Wrap and PhaseDistortion (or ChopLifter) creates some *massive* sounds

Regarding Installers/locations:
I think it's common to use two different VST folders - one for the 32 bit versions,
and another for x64 versions.
One way is to provide two installers, or one installer, where you can
define both paths to the 32 bit version and to the x64 version for the dlls.
Both ways are ok.
Thanks and Cheers

Regarding installers, I usually have the installer place everything into a directory somewhere and then manually move them into my own dir. I do this to avoid presets getting added to my custom directory structure.
I'm perfectly ok with a single installer for both 32 and 64. Companies like Spectrasonics do this with an extra step that has:
[ ] 32-bit VST
[ ] 64-bit VST
[ ] RTAS
[X] Program data
Either way I'm fine with the current setup.

Heads up: Uhbik, Zebra2, ACE and Filterscape zip files for windows still include MAC files (starting with a dot).
