By having a clean digital sound ? As V'ger mentions ?Uncle E wrote:SQ8L is ultimately sample-based. How does RMXL share anything in common?V'ger wrote:if you're into clean digital sound like SQ8L maybe want to give Krakli's RMXL a try, one of my favs freebies atm.
If one is sample based and the other is non-sample, but yet if both have a similar sonic quality, then, surely they can be thought as having something in common?

Only Howard knows. It was his idea. And of course it's a massive marketing plot.audiojunkie wrote:.............now I'm curious about what's going on. It seems some people know, and some of us don't........Urs? Hint's please?
We're basically talking light versions of Zebra and FilterscapeVA. Not ZebraCM, but versions that in ancient times have been magware too. As that magazine doesn't publish them anymore, I see no reason why I shouldn't distribute them myself - as entry level drugs

Since I purchased the initial Zebra 2... every upgrade since then has been free. ( easily 2+ paying upgrades for many companies). Best value of use vs cost of any synth I have purchased... So yes, he released Zebra 2.5 for freetodd_r wrote:Your releasing Zebra and Filterscape for free?Urs wrote:If you alraedy have Zebra and Filterscape then it's nothing you need, I'm afraidGeorgeZ wrote:Oh oh... what have we here then...cmon, let the cat out of the bag!!! There's always been good freeware. I started with Tweakbench, Piz, and Darkware and that was way better than anything you can buy in a store. I don't like cheesy stuff.
