Ok I am nitpicking here :hihi: but I was wondering about this:

This morning I noticed some of the regular presets in Sylenth1 that have modulation or filter controls setup that will have things like "Cutoff A/B" or others that would affect both A and B.

But then when I go to look at how B is setup, on some of them there are no voices assigned (Osc 3 and 4 are both set to 0), and isn't setup to do anything else either.

Is there some point to this that I don't know about? Shouldn't it just be set to (for example) "Cutoff A" instead of "Cutoff A/B"?

It doesn't really matter if you set it to Cutoff A or Cutoff AB when you are not using part B anyway. In that case filter B is off, so there's nothing to modulate. Setting it to Cutoff A or AB will have the exact same result. It will only make a difference if you use part B too.

Ok thanks

I would suspect that the designer had something in the B section during creation and then decided the patch sounded better without it.
