Had just a quick run through, but I'd like to say to those who contibuted:
Some very cool sounds here to be explored - thanks, folks !

Cheers :-)

In retrospect I realize the two patches I submitted are a little bit too heavy on CPU. Oops. :P

Well, that's the trick really isn't it? Make it sound good, but don't fry the CPU. Getting a nice balance :D

I think frying the output should also be a consideration. A few of these patches show output overloads... maybe Ace should have a hard limiter...

My picks:

1. Fallout (neat balloon rubbing sound!)
2. Morning on Venus (awesome pad!)
3. KbMi Analog Crystalline Bells (exactly as advertised! Nice!)

Ultimately of course, we're all just voting for what we like and/or turns us on. I'm not sure if "contest" is the right description of what we're doing, because a contest implies the use measurable performance parameters that are used to judge something. That's why I prefer to have those defined. Otherwise, it's either a crap shoot or a popularity contest.

Regardless, it's cool to see more people doing this. It's food for creativity :D

(PS: According to the poll, screw the fish and pass the chips! :hihi: )

Well, it's not scientific or anything  Once you add tartar sauce things change.

A bACEless observation? :help:

If we can't vote for our own patch can we shamelessly plug it in this thread?

Side note, wish I had submitted more than one patch, I'm probably the reason for the odd number count of presets.

No. Only shamefully.

Nope bACEd on Acexperience, i've eaten my fair share.

Anyway, i can't get enough of this synth. Ace epitomises what can be done with software, virtually limitless possibilities. :)

Looking forward to the next comp. :hyper:
