Because it seems to disturb some people (no kidding), and because most people don't do presets from scratch. Think of the demo as coming with 70 different init patches instead :-D

Oh ok if you say so. I wonder why would it disturb some people? I get the impression that a lot of KVR members like to roll their own presets from scratch so a blank preset is the perfect place to start. Maybe it's just me..............

Hmmmm quick question. The Morph wheel effects LFO speed? I've setup a patch where part B has an LFO to Filter Cutoff and as I raise the Morph wheel the speed of the LFO increases............my fault or is this by design?

No fault, no design, if A and B have different LFO speed, than speed changes during morphing.

Important update - it can be automated in Frooty through assignng it a controller value no higher than 50

LOL. It is not exactly a stretch to make your own Init preset. The cool thing is once you set it up for A or B it is a breeze to copy it over to the opposite patch.

My Init preset might be different from yours too :D

It's not exactly a stretch to make any patch.........but having a blank patch already included saves me time when trying to demo a new synth.........

Ahhh ok got it....I didn't have Part A's LFO's assigned to anything so I didn't take their speed into consideration. Indeed matching the speed works perfectly. So I assume Part A LFO 1 is linked to Part B LFO 1 and LFO 2 is linked to LFO 2.............. :D

That's also the reason why peter called this synth "morphoX" :)

Really? It's just not too obvious that a parameter that isn't in use would have an effect on a parameter that is in use.........So do the Delays Morph that way as well?

Yes if one wishes to increase or decrease LFO speed with the Morph wheel this is a perfect trick. If one wishes for the LFO speed to remain constant just match the speed of each part's LFO.

Morphing means thats everything changes from A to B in a certain way. There is no exception, like "being in use" or not. Actually this would make it quite hard to grasp. Its simply changing from A to B allways, no matter how you route certain things. The delay in example does not morph time but blend signals as morphing time would introduce (in most cases) unwanted pitch effects, however when it comes to feedback, the delay gradually changes feedback between the two settings A and B.

Anyway, trying is better than talking, I admit that certain things are not obvious, but thats part of the fun to being able to dive deeper and deeper into it.
