Can I use the BCA FA on a separate computer to analyze tracks from another computer ?I am just starting to get into home recording and I m using Protools essentials which doesnt support plugins.Its the entry level version .I have garageband on an older mac with the FA plugin and Protools on my laptop.
Any help is welcome

If you plan to analyze your complete mix and not each track separately then it's possible to use your Mac at the output of your laptop to analyze the signal produced by the laptop. But I don't think GarageBand will let you monitor the incoming signal in real time. You might want to use the the free AU Lab that is delivered with your system instead.
