I've also noticed some odd behavior with stereo into the plugin (Intel Q9550 processor, Vista 64-bit business, REAPER 64-bit, using the built-in 32-bit bridging), might need a little going over there, but-Masr wrote:Thanks very much for this plug.
BTW, are we supposed to use it only on mono sources? Stereo tracks produce a lot of strange noise (with the chorus knob engaged).
the sound quality is really exceptional and far beyond any other freeware delay I am familiar with. Definitely commercial quality - as always - and perhaps most importantly, like a real tape delay, it sounds good in FRONT of anything, not just at the end of the chain. I love that.
Thumbs up, ten stars, eleven golden sandwiches, another hit from freeware's golden man, etc.; but, yeah, perhaps the mono/stereo behavior could be examined thoroughly to make sure there aren't any bugs in the process?
(You do have to adjust the big knob with different mono configurations, e.g. dual mono, ping pong, if you're getting issues without touching that knob it may be user unfamiliarity causing the problem, but I've noticed some strange behavior with the Modulation knob.
I need to give the manual a thorough examination, this thing is clearly sophisticated and deep and I need to understand it better, but just the first-load experience is highly, highly, HIGHLY positive, I'd have paid for this one. Or anything he's made in the last two years, for that matter. What a dev!
