Hey, Nigel -- I got a chance to call Music123 just a few minutes ago and talked to a very nice lady there. They still have a little confusion about the PayPal vs. credit card thing, in that CC charges are only a hold before shipping, but PayPal actually pulls from your account, but she said that the transaction was canceled on 10/7, and should take 3 to 5 business days to reverse out.

I told her that other folks had been told this for the past week, and that there is a fair amount of annoyance on several boards over this issue.

She said that they've been having a lot of troubles with this pricing error. Apparently a whole bunch of us deal hounds jumped on it.

Guess we'll see whether it reverses out or not.... I think they just got buried on this one, and then didn't deal well with the differences between CC and PayPal.

Yes, I think the penny has dropped on their end. I've had PayPal contact them directly to point this out as they weren't listening to us.

I got my money back for the first order, now I'm just wrestling with them over the second.

It's not been a great opening of their new site.

Well, they just took payment for my cancelled order. Looks like another phone call is required.

Hmph. Still haven't gotten my measly $9.99 credited back to my account yet. It's been 12 days since they supposedly reversed the charge out.

This is almost starting to feel like a scam...

Anybody else still waiting?

I got mine back from Music123, but I did file a dispute and escalate it to a claim with PayPal first. I also got PayPal to email them and involved customer Support from Musician's Friend. All in all, a complete shambles and I will definitely be avoiding both of them from now on.

I got a partial refund on my second order so in the end I've bought a MXL V63M for $22.50 + about $10 in phone calls. So it didn't end too badly as I got a decent microphone for a little money and a lot of hassle.

I suggest everyone who hasn't got their refund yet to file a claim with PayPal.

I'm very interested in hearing more about the SampleTron Exclusive Extras library from users. How is it different than the Squids Tron Collection V1? The demos for Squids Tron Collection sound GREAT, but unfortunately there are no demos for the SampleTron Exclusive Extras.

Seems like a good deal (essentially Steven Slate Platinum for $150), but am just waiting for it to actually come about...Does this sort of delay usually happen with AudioMidi? Am I safe to order now, just worried about taking weeks to actually get the product...

You must have overlooked the description:

Note: If you also own SampleTron already then these are the same sounds that are in SampleTron. If you own SampleTron and don t own Squids Tron then you can also pick up those extra sounds separately.

I wish NI would have that same sale again where they had each synth for $99, and just in time for Christmas too.
I was thinking of getting FM8, that's one on my list anyway.

I posted this link in the Bargains thread, but wanted to mention that if IK does another sale like 3 for 1, or 4 for 1, etc, using SonikSynth2 from this deal might (you'd have to check on this first of course) work for that one.

Since it's only $99 for all 3 of these, I am going to bookmark this one and hang on to it, ya never know.

I already have Sampletank2xl and SonikSynth2 but for me it would be worth it if they did another sale like that (5 for 1).
I'd get SampleMoog, Miroslav (full version) and Sampletron, then I would have all 5.

I wonder if I could sell the extra copy of SonikSynth2 and Miroslav (the Classic version) if I went ahead and did that?

Does anyone know of any good deals on Amplitube 3? I qualify for a crossgrade form other IK products, but it'd be nice bo get if for less than $269.
