tuning strangeness?

Not sure when this started happening, but I'm experiencing the same problem in Zebra, Ace, and Bazille. Every E note is pretty far out of tune, but in tune with the other E's. E-flat also goes out of tune, but the tuning is very different each time I play an E-flat, and when multiple E-flats are held, they are out of tune with each other. I'm using the latest betas right now, but I think I remember this happening before as well. It happens whether the drift option is turned on or not, and I'm using the default tuning. No other plugins are doing this, and I've tried multiple hosts with the same results. Totally confused! Anyone else ever had this happen to them? And no, I'm not in demo mode....

Hmmm... I think it was brought up before. I guess I have to investigate that no matter how hard to believe it is for me.
Can you say how much you have to tune it up (or down?) to get it back in tune?

Thanks for getting back to me. I checked and a few other notes are also out of tune, but not by as much. I have to tune the E up 0.13, and the E flat is either in tune or needs to go up by 0.20. The F I think needs to go up by about 0.08 and F sharp by about 0.04. G is also off by maybe a point or so. Hope this helps!

is there any chance you can post audio of you playing the scale to display the out of key notes?sadguitarius wrote:Thanks for getting back to me. as it may be system/OS/SSE/??? dependent & play in key on other computers,
& also a basic system speck, CPU & OS

Urs has said (somewhere, can't recall at the moment) that he has a likely fix for this and should be incorporated into the next beta. So sit tight, it's coming.

Yeah... it's a mishap on my side.
I recently switched to a waaaay faster tuning algorithm, but for no apparent reason it's off around e flat.
Next round of updates (64-bit betas...) will have the old tuning routine, but I might be running some tests to se if I can't tweak the newer one...

Old subject, (Bazille slightly out of tune) and I am not sure if this has been resolved? I use the latest beta for Bazille on a Macbook pro with Cubase 6. I have turned drift off . All E:s are still out of tune with about 10-15 percent, measured with 3 different tuners. It doesn't happen in Zebra or Diva, but to a lesser degree in Ace. (I can't find a drift parameter in ACE so I am not sure if I have switched it off.)
Any suggestions?
