Sylenth1 AmpEnv A Release prob

Hi all, anyone know how to solve this prob??

AmpEnv A Release

I want the release on 10 for the 1st 4 bars of riff then to automatically
drop to zero for next 4 bars.
Im using EnergyXT as my DAW.
I thought i could out smart it by running 2 tracks
and just have 2nd track set to zero release when riff comes in at 5th bar.
Nahh....It gave me the finger!


How do I kill the Release on Track 1
because it still continues to hold even tho
nothing is being played on track 1. I can manually do it
via midi keyboard nob control, but thats no good to me
if im rocking out on the guitar. geez, why me?

i dont know too much about this stuff yet and im still a rookie and will probably be that for a while.. but anyway, the only thing i can think of is using the parametric equalizer to fade it down as fast as you want

Maybe some kind of midi volume/wah pedal, and assign it to whatever you need.
Not sure how to hook that up, but it may be possible.

If it is automated, wouldn't that mean it would have to sequenced, and he would have to have that automatically triggered at the right point when they play the song live?

It's possible, but you'd have to be playing in time with that sequence though the whole song, or just trigger the part (at the right point in the song) with a midi pedal of some sort.
