Zebrify MESG and Envelopes with audio problem

Hi

What I'm trying to achieve is very simple but I can't find a way:

Strike a chord on my guitar, make it pass through Zebrify VCF while cutoff
frequency changes in real time. I have noticed that audio alone is not able to start MSEG or ENV when assigned to Cutoff Freq. To do so (but it's not what I'm looking for) I have to feed a MIDI loop to Zebrify from another track in order to have ENV or MSEG working. However this is not optimal because audio should be the trigger. How do I achieve this?

I've been working on this, but hadn't had a proper solution before Zebrify was released about a year ago.

I'm currently implementing triggers for envelopes other than NoteON (... lfos...) so there's a good chance that the transient detection of Zebrify will fit the bill.

Oh yes... for wah-wah-type effects you can of course use the envelope follower, and for simple enevlopes you could use the transient envelope.

Would it be possible to give Zebrify ability to use a second audio stream? I would love to drive the envelope follower with different audio from another track.

(sorry for the hijack)

Nope, the detector uses the monosum... :-|

So it's not there yet.
Urs, do not be said for that. With Zebrify I was able to re create one of the lead sounds of the GR300. Zebrify is sooo close to become a Virtual GR300 (of course for mono sounds only) that this addition would be welcomed! Think that instead of feeding an oscillator into an XMF, I have splitted the sound through two different VCF and one is a Formant filter (the sidechained one). Well, with this configuration there's no pitch tracking, you can play as fast as you can and the sound is sensible to velocity and frequency. So Zebrify is a miracle! I have compared this to a VG-99 and the sound is so close except that needs polishing in the lower octaves.
When you will add the Envelope thing you will go close to a Gr300 and I'll be so happy..
For inspiration : http://www.joness.com/gr300/patent.htm .... just in case you want to make a a new plug... I'll buy it straight away... you're a genius and maybe the only one that can give us back that thrilling sound that is now missing in the industry..

Wooo! That sounds like exactly what I've been after for Zebrify. Been able to manage a clunky work around in Bidule using an envelope follower to somehow (I can't remember the full details) trigger a new MIDI note to feed to Zebrify to retrigger the envelopes, but I would much prefer to see all this built into Zebrify itself.
