Tale,

This is such a great sounding organ. Any plans to do another? Maybe a Farfisa next time round?

Post

Thanks. :) And yeah, there are plans for a Farfisa. Actually, I have already started working on a Combo Model F, this is what it looks like so far: :D

Wow. Awesome. I'm hoping this will make me stop missing my non-functioning Farfisa (I'll get it repaired one day). I'm very excited for this.

Just one thing...the text and buttons look tiny. If that's actual size, you may want to try and make it more legible.

Great news! I love the Farfisa sound, and I hope you will be able to match the quality of Combo Model V, that's one of my fav organ VST.

You shoud open a thread about it, in order to get advise from KVR members.

Again, many thanks for your VSTi.

Yeah, great stuff!

I have just uploaded v1.0.5 beta3:
  • [VST] Added generic UI text input support
  • [AU] Fixed bug with generic UI text input
  • Minor optimizations (volume, MIDI CCs)
  • Improved drawing of keyboard in GUI
  • Changed MIDI channel parameter internal type to enumerator

Theo,

I just downloaded the newest beta, I'll report if I have any issues but can I first make one suggestion: please name the archives with the version number. Example: ComboV1053beta. It just makes it easier to keep track of the different versions, and prevents me from accidentally overwriting a prior release. That way, if I ever have to roll back to a previous version, I can do so easily.

Just a suggestion. Thanks for all of your development on this.

Post

+1 for adding version numbers to the archive files!!! :D

AND a BIG +1 for a Farfisa model, with bigger text & buttons, too!!! :D :D :D

Post

I have uploaded v1.0.5 beta4:
  • Fixed possible MIDI queue overload when playing GUI keyboard while plug-in is offline
  • Version number is now included in installer/ZIP filename

thanks! :tu:

Martinic, it's more than amazing that you devote all this professional concern to a freeware instrument that should, by all rights, be a commercial product.

It's very much appreciated!

BTW, I just donated. I'd encourage anyone using ComboV to do the same…

Thanks!

If it were easy, anybody could do it!

I had the same thought earlier, and I'm planning on donating at some point this week. Anyone who devotes as much time to bug fixes, Mac support, x64 support, etc. on a freeware release deserves some support.
