I'm downloading the updated MS-20 (already have KLC Analog), currently averaging 11.5 kb/sariston wrote: I tried the MS-20, downloaded at a whopping 20 KB/s. From Korg. In 2010. Oh well...
Eh, wait a minute, download speed now at under 11kb/s. I knew Korg couldn't keep up such a blistering pace for the whole 30.9MB
--EDIT--
I used a download manager and the alternative server, downloaded it in a few seconds.

Yes I remember the 28.k modems, except that 28.8k did about 3-4 kilobytes per second. Remember, it was 28800 kiloBITS, not bytes. 11.5k back then would have been AWESOME! I never could connect above 31.6k, and that was lucky most days. Ah, that bad old days. Can't say I miss taking 14+ minutes to download a meg at 14.4kb if I recall correctly...chas48155 wrote:I'm downloading the updated MS-20 (already have KLC Analog), currently averaging 11.5 kb/sAh, remember the bad old days of the 28.8k modem? I have both and like them both, but xphraze is waaayyy more powerful than WS.TristezaOrange wrote:Also, a question. I have Xphraze. Do you think that the Wavestation offers anything different? They seem quite similar to me as far as functionalilty goes.
But you must not compare them. They are different. WS is more atmospheric, new age, pads, etc. while xphraze is sort of auto-accompaniment, idea-factory, melodic loop thing ...
Anyway, they are two of my most useful vst synths.

Can't you "choose" which to use?Julian Ray wrote:My Korg DE license was on dongle, but now, after update it was changed to C/R.emulator01 wrote:Hi all,
i have all licenses stored on my dongle.
Does someone know the content of the new updates ?
Is it needed after installing the upgrades to change the copy protection from USB dongle to C/R ?
thanks in advance
Frank
I have Korg Legacy Digital Edition with the original hardware key, then upgraded to the new eLicencer and i really do NOT want to go into all this C/R mess.
I'm thinking about upgrading to all the latest versions (M1, WS, MDE-X) and possibly buy Mono/Poly, too. Can't i keep on using my eLicencer?
C/R sucks ...

$49.00 is a bargain, especially for these vsti's, but still - why is the MS20 for Ipad $9.99????

An option for iPad doesn't directly integrate into your sequencer. So think of the iPad version as a teaser / toy.
