coming from a very popular hardware synth from years gone past, I might have thought M1 was going to be so much more than it was.. but after demoing it I am more impressed with the soft synths I already use... I'm sort of seeing how spoiled I already am. :hihi:

Since I have WUsikstation, would it be worthwhile to get the M1 or Wavestation? I am tempted, as I love vintage sounding stuff and have heard so much about those 2. :)

Awesome I want this.. 8)

Is anyone using the Wavestation VST in Win7-64 (under some bit-bridge of course)? Is it a stable plugin as such? Thanks.

I think any time there's a promo on any thing we can count on you being there with your mickey mouse collection of presets for sale shortly thereafter  At this stage it's a given

It's a pity the INSTRUMENT section of the forum is flooded with advertisements that belong in the MARKET PLACE.

Xenos ain't that Mickey Mouse, when I first came across him I gave him a list of presets to do taken from old Rave records, he completely 100% nailed some of them with Subboombass, others were close...I was actually testing him because I (wrongly)believed Softsynths could NOT sound like(as good as) hardware back then and he proved me wrong, even with Subboombass which gets no love around here... :P

It's a pity the INSTRUMENT section of this forum is full of wingers that belong in ROOM 101.

Good Morning and Goodnight!

My organ teacher back in the day always had oodles of money (apparently) and got the M1 just about when it came out. I even got to borrow it for two weeks. I don't think I ever took my sweaty 16-year-old hands off of it during that time.
Today, if you take the nostalgia out of the picture, you got a slightly embarrassing-sounding synth that brings back a whole slew of awful pop tunes (does anyone remember "innocent" by Mike Oldfield?). But then, I spent the 80s listening to music of the 70s while really hating the typical 80s sound and desperately waiting for the 90s to arrive. The 90s began, as we all know, in 1987, when the Pixies recorded "Come on Pilgrim".

So I guess I'll pass this one, as well. ;)

"Mickey Mouse collection of presets"? Constructive criticism is one thing, but I don't appreciate the insult.

As for posting in the instruments forum, I'm not the only one that does that. If you don't like those posts, don't read read them. We're all just doing what we need to do to make it in this business.

Where are your presets? If you are knocking someone else you should show your own work for evaluation. I think your name just may fit you.

In the UK Mickey Mouse means fake/hookey/knock off!

Anyways back on topic, I was originally interested in the M1 but the sounds are a bit Mickey Mouse :hihi: . So I'm not getting it. :(

Who rates the MS20 though for old school vintage analogue, Lotuzia's Demo's have swayed me towards it, the sound seems like a solid, silky, squelchy analogue sound IMO?
