Thanks for the info but i can't get the past the product registration page as i have no products to register. Bit of a paradox there lol. Just want to demo the M1. :help:
It's a bit Drumtarded, I know, but you'll soon get the hang of it.

You don't need any products to register.

Complete the New User Registration:
https://www.korguser.net/Asp/New_Customer.asp?fLogin=1

Give your real or imaginary details - you don't have to
validate by email so it don't matter...

Once you have signed up,
https://www.korguser.net/login.asp?OS=WIN&LAN=1&TOP=1

The downloads page is on your right hand side.
If the page reloads when you click on 'buy' again here, just Log back in.

Doh, it's not letting me log out now, so can't test my theory.
I'm sure that's how it works, I did it just now.
Make sure you are using Firefox as well as the 'supported browser'.
What bit are you getting stuck at?

cheers.

Post

why isnt this info common knowledge :hihi:

Post

It will be going down as folklore before much longer ;-)

Hopefully.

Who needs stickies when it's on nearly every page of the thread.

Is a *bit* counter-intuitive though.

Has musikmachine 'got it yet'?
Is he still going 'round in that log-in loop?

We shall see...

Post

What are the demo limitations? Noise inserts?

Do the demos install any system drivers or anything apart from the VSTs?

Post

I'd really like to purchase but either I'm really dense or the Korg site and my computer don't play well together. I know if I dropped $49, I'd never see the M1 download page! The Korg site won't even let me register. It states my info (name, password and date of birth) are wrong. I give up!

Gee, I don't even need to worry about the $49... I just tried to purchase and it would not let me. Sorry, I think the Korg site must be manned my a team of freekin' squirrels! :-o

No limitations at all, like noise. It's a full working 30 day trial version.

I couldn't tell if there was more installed. Just the *.dll in the folder I selected.

Yes, the registration process is a joke! I have tried to register a second time now, and still get errors like "User information is incorrect" !

I have tried two browsers now...argh! Perhaps this is the best way to save money = make the process of demoing the product as difficult as possible by refusing a new member access to the demo! In that case I'll treat myself to Imposcar then. Boo! Korg.

I had to go for a ride on the bike to blow off some steam! :x

Better now. :wheee: I fill in the first part then i get taken to the register product page. I tried going back to the main page and logging in but couldn't. I am using Chrome so i'll try Firefox but it seems i'm not the only one having problems. :|

You should make this a new thread called 'How to download Korg Demo's' and copy/paste this onfo to it, you've explained it well with good links, then people in this thread will stop asking every page. :hihi: Actually I'm serious :|

No, i can't login. Incorrect login or password, both with Firefox and Chrome. Just aint worth it! Btw, i initially tried to recover my original login info from when i owned the klc but i was told the info was incorrect as others in this thread.

Actually, when you are logged in properly, where the log-in box was
on the right hand side, should then appear the downloads page 'button'.

Just a list of everything to dl - no buy option to mess about with here.
Also, fyi, this is where the LegacyCell magically appears. You will need
the ms-20, polysix and mde-x for it to work of course.

Oh and the manuals can be found at the bottom of the 'individual' dl pages.
That is to say the manual for the MonoPoly for example is on the MonoPoly
page at the bottom.

No clue what is up with the rest of that stuff.
Good luck.

Edit:

Why don't you actually register over at the proper Korg-Legacy-Collection forum:
http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... b3a37b5ce1

To at least tell them they need to sort it out...

There's a lot of good info there too regarding changing protection schemes.
But I guess you registered users already knew that ;-)

cheers.

Damn, that totally sucks! :-o :-o I went in via Chrome, had no real issues except having to reload some pages 4 times :help:

I think Korg needs new Web programmers because, yeah, the whole register/login system makes you want to buy the HARDWARE or not bother at all!!

Exactly the same situation here, except I tried Opera and Firefox.
Shame really, I wanted Wavestation and maybe MonoPoly.
