daAlfa2k V1.26 released.

Just a small addition: Clicking on the word "Wave" under each Waveform-Selector, browses the last external loaded WAV directory. Making easy to select new waveforms.

We also uploaded 3 extra banks of waveforms for daAlfa2k at www.DashW.com. Arps, Junos and VFXs waveforms. (only WAV files, no presets)

William... something seems strange after installing the new update and getting the extra wav files [arps, junos, etc]

say I go to one osc and use the normal menu to load one of the 'external' wav's... not browser, just load from the menu list... say I load the 700 Duet2.wav that works fine..

but then choosing LOAD and browsing to one of other included 'external wav' files in the folder, [say for example: Basswave 1.wav] puts up a dialog box saying "Error: Could not open File:
D:\@VST Plugins\DASHSIGNATURE.COM\DAALFA2K\EXTRA-WAV-DATA\BASSWAVE 1.WAV1.WAV"

so why is that... the wav's in the extra wav data are just wav's right?

seems really odd: I tried to copy the duet2 wav into the Juno folder to see if it's a directory thing, but it will not load it from there either using LOAD.

any thoughts?

Strange, here it works. But I will test more latter and see if I can find the problem, don't worry, I track it down.

Win XP Pro sp1

did i state the prob ok? try this... copy one of the external wav's say Duet 2.wav to another location..and then try to load it using the LOAD fuction in the osc menus... I get error when trying that... wierd

Is on the LOGIN page, click on daAlfa2k and it will show you two files: Big and small update...

If he ordered her way back when his email still has the old dashsynthesis download link in it...That's probably what's going on...

And just to be clear...your front page and this thread say 1.26, but this is the 2.26 release, right?

I ordered daAlpha2k several months ago when it was dashsynthesis only. But I also have Abstract Guitar and Eve, so I've been to Signature several times as well. Thing is that I was just at Dash W and I'm getting confused with the multiple dash sites and exactly what's located where.

Use the ticket number from your Alfa mail, but use the login link from the Abguit mail...should be all good...
If you back up all your important mail in one spot and just always remember to use the login link from the newest one...it's the only way I can keep things sorted...

I do back up with Ghost-three generation multiple backups. First generation goes to a second hard drive, second to an external fire wire hd, and third (for C Drive and Vstplugins folder and email) to CDR.

Trouble is, I have a year or more of emails, and sorting thru them can be a real dog. I usually burn download purchases and their email receipts etc. to CDR, but somehow didn't do that for daAlpha2k !

Hummm, DashSynthesis is dead, so all users were ported to DASHsignatuer and we did email all users about it. Maybe you missed that email. Anyway, is very simple. Just use http://login.dashsignature.com/ that's all.

DashW.com is another story, check the site for more info.

I have the same problem William!

I put the wav's in seperate folders (Juno, Arp,..). If I select a wav from eg. the Juno folder, everything works OK. But if I try to load a wav from a different folder after that, I get the error message above.
