I'm starting to getting kind of annoyed by a missing trigger mode.
Right now there's 3 of them. Quoted from the manual:
This three-state toggle switch determines how Thesys responds to a
trigger signal. The first option is Host. This means that Thesys is slaved to
the host clock and will start when the host clock is started.

Note On triggers (starts) Thesys as soon as a note is played. Thesys
continues to play as long as the note is held.

Note Toggle toggles (starts and stops) Thesys with any incoming MIDI
note. The first note starts the sequencer and the next incoming note stops it.
I want Thesys to start at a specific time and with a specific pattern, therefore I can't use the Host-mode.

I also want to use the built-in pattern sequencer so I don't want to draw any MIDI notes for what pattern to be played.

The only option left is the Note toggle mode. I draw a single pattern note to start Thesys playing pattern that the built-in pattern sequencer has been programmed to do. I then rewind, either through moving the play cursor in the DAW without stopping or just stopping the DAW and then move the play cursor.
Next time I play the song and the same note starting the pattern is played, Thesys will stop playing due to the toggle nature of this mode. So I have to go back once more to toggle the Thesys to play again.

Ok. Hope you're with me here. :) A good solution would be to have two notes, one for start and one for stop so we can rely on Thesys to start and stop when we want to.

Hopefully it's not that hard to implement and it would save me quite some time, energy and I can keep the focus on how the song should be played not having to listen for what might be missing.

So please, would love if you could do it.

Thanks. :)

Hi Jensa,
I will look into it. Trigger on certain beat sounds ok to me,
maybe I can pimp the note toggle a bit, so, that it stops and resets when you
stop the host.

Ah thanks. I can manage without it but it would indeed be helpful. :)
