Hi Everyone - I have a Casio MG-510 Midi Guitar that's been in my family since new, but hasn't been used in many years. The old Roland mt-32 sound module we used to control with the guitar is long gone, so I got a MIDI-to-USB cable. I was hoping to try out the Midi features using MU.LAB, but I'm not having much luck. Is MU.LAB able to function as a sound module controlled by an external device like the MG-510? If so, is there a simple set-up procedure/test I can perform?
Thanks in advance,
-Ben

If you want to send MIDI to MU.LAB, first thing to do is main EDIT menu -> MIDI Setup. Make sure you have selected the relevant MIDI ins and outs.
Then whenever you select a track or part or module in MU.LAB, MIDI input will be automatically routed to that module (i.e. sound or effect) and so you can play that module from your keyboard. Simple and easy.
If you're not yet familiar with the basics of MU.LAB, check out this video:
