You could call me Ingo, that's my real name. :)

At the moment i'm just experimenting, no final results so far.

I am quite sure that there will be a printed manual in the box.

I changed the thread title as the PPG3 is now officially released and dosen't make sense to start another thread since the demo is pretty much the full deal albeit as I understand it perhaps some more presets were to be added, final tweaks etc to the program.

Good stuff indeed.

Currently i'm doing some sample mangling with Alchemy, Absynth 5 and Waldorf D-Pole for the PPG Wave 3.V. After that i'll try to use some more of the internal wavetables and then i'll check the Galbanum waveforms again.

i've recently uploaded a couple of 3V demos on my Facebook (hit me www link on the left to check out!)
i've used one 3V .dll inside Herman Seib's Savihost played everything live and recorded the output. No effects, no other sound sources/processing and absolutely NO sequencing. just a sole instance of the PPG played entirely live !

I've hit a few teething troubles, as it's New year's eve and I want to use this over the weekend, I'm posting this here (and in the Waldorf list) in the hope I might get a quick answer, at least on the loading of the transients and .syx files.

It's the full version

I sent in a support request yesteday because I notice the sound programme gets locked in the track inspector in Cubase SX3. Normally you can change the programme from within Cubase. I unloaded PPG 3V, loaded PPG 2V into the same track - that worked as expected. Waldorf don't seem to have a copy of Cubase SX3 to check - it works in more recent versions apparently.

Slightly more frustrating is I can't work out how to load the PPG 2.3 sounds which are a .syx file. I did a search on the pdf, that term does not appear in the manual.

Also I can't figure out how to load the transients. Following the manual, I opened the transient panel, go to load transient, it then looks for .mp3, .wav, .aiff - but not .wtb - how do I load the Waveterm B images?

I'm trying to find the "scanned choir" which is possibly somewhere in one of the libraries - can someone confirm it's there and maybe where? I'm hoping Cathedral choir is in the Waveterm library.

I really wanted to try these out over the weekend, so if anyone has answers I'd be very grateful.
